Ok, enough of this B*ll Sh!t!! It’s been 10 days of no power, long gas lines, the inside of my car smelling like a lawnmower, flipping on lightswitches and nothing happening, going around the house and forgetting to take a flashlight with me, moving one cord to another just to use the microwave and heat up some food only to unplug something else to do that, or eating out for the umpteenth time, listening to the endless drowning out of the generators in the whole stinking neighborhood, hoping upon hope for some semblance of a breeze, which is almost extinct right now.
Yes, I know, there are those who don’t even have a house, and would trade places with me in a heartbeat, but living without electricity is a slow, painful disaster.
I’m told by many that my zip code is scheduled for today, but I find out that they are only saying 80% of my zip code. So…here I sit, no lights, no a/c, struggling with gas cans, flashlights, and the plugging and unplugging of electrical apparatuses.
